After a terrific suggestion by Ann Lockhart at the March 2009 unit board meeting in Wilson, the unit board approved the placement of a regular page in the District 7 News all about Unit 119! This is similar to what the Georgia unit does. I agreed to serve as the editor.

Please be sure to send me information about your clubs and local members (special events such as a party to honor a long-time member, educational activities, new club games, etc.). At the March board meeting, we decided we wouldn't print winners of special games, so anything else is fair game I guess. I'll automatically include information before and after each sectional, information on President's races, happenings at board meetings, and perhaps advancements in rank. But I'll need your help to know what's happening locally. Of course, if I don't hear from anyone, I'll just write about my favorite club .

I think this will be a wonderful way to showcase our unit!
